Katherine Paterson
Childhood
She was born in 1932. She moved many times and did not approve of her early writing. She lived in Japan, China, and the U.S.A. in her childhood.
Accomplishments
She won the Newbery award twice, once for Bridge to Terabithia and once for Jacob Have I Loved. She wrote her first book in 1973.Her most recent novel is The Flint Heart, done with her husband, John Paterson.
