Madeleine L'engle
Madeleine L'engle was an amazing woman who lived a full and happy life. She, of course as you already know, wrote A Wrinkle In Time and wrote that wonderful series. She was born on November 29th, 1918 in New York. When she was 8, she moved to the French Alps. She moved back to the united states for high school in South Carolina. She went to Smith College and had awesome teachers to teach her the art of writing, and when she graduated, she worked at a theater in New York where the pay was good and the time was flexible enough to keep on livin' the dream of writing. She published her first two books, A Small Rain and Ilsa. She also met her husband, Franklin, in the theater because he was an actor for the play they were doing, The Cherry Orchard, by Anton Chekov. She had a baby girl, but kept writing and wrote (I know you've been waiting for this name to be said more than the once at the beginning) A Wrinkle in Time. It recieved a Newbery award and the reason she made it is because of her newfound love for particle physics and quantum mechanics. She also wrote over 60 books and of course I can't name them all, but I bet they were really good books, based on her book A Wrinkle In Time. But, sadly all good things must come to an end because she died on September 7th,
